The Friday after Thanksgiving, Adam had a casual day at work so he did not have to wear a suit. This is the conversation that took place just before he left.
Noah - "Mommy is daddy going to work or a meeting?"
Mom - "He is going to work"
Noah - "But he has on his meeting pants"
Obviously daddy only goes 2 places on his own and goes to these places A LOT.
As the boys get older and are enjoying playing more and more with each other, bedtime has become more difficult in our 2 bedroom place. So we always put the boys down at the same time, they have their night light (so the monsters won't get them) and the ocean playing in the background to set the mood. Well, every night as we shut the door we hear one of them say "should we stand up" the other one says "yeah" and they get up and jump on there bed and throw all there blankets and pillows on the ground. This happens every night. So last night we warn Noah and say if you don't go to bed your going into Mom and Dads room we have done this before. Well of course he doesn't listen, so we put him in our room and about 30 seconds later we hear "The monsters are going to get me, the monsters and going to get me, don't let the monsters get me" and he is crying as he is saying it. And as sad as it is it totally works, we then put him back in his bed and didn't hear a peep from him till 7:20 the next morning. Who would have thought that our bedroom would be so terrifying.

That is HillariouS about the monsters. You and Adam have had many adveturous Thanksgivings! I love the post about the kids and I love the picture of the boys holding hands. Love you, Jen!
so funny! be grateful. Better to have your room full of monsters, than your kids running in in the middle of the night and getting into your bed because there are monsters in their bed...trust me.
