Neighborhood parade and carnival. Such a fun tradition that the boys LOVE. We got to decorate our bikes the night before at our ward ice cream social/bike dcorating party. Then on Saturday they have a yummy breakfast before the parade. 
That night we watched from our front yard and had quite a spectacular view of the Sugarhouse fireworks. It was perfect at Home, Lucy was in bed and there are no crowds to fight.
